3 Things I Wish I Could Go Back And Tell Myself When I Started Flipping Houses

3 things I wish I could go back and tell myself when I started flipping houses:

1️⃣ You don’t have to be an expert to start.
Waiting until you "know it all" is just fear in disguise. The best way to learn real estate . . . is to do real estate.

2️⃣ Don’t try to do the work yourself just to save money.
Your time is too valuable. What you save in dollars, you’ll lose in time, stress & quality. Build the team early.

3️⃣ Choose finishes that match the comps in your area.
Don’t over-improve. Don’t under-deliver. Let the neighborhood guide your design choices . . . not Pinterest.

If you’ve been thinking about flipping but feel overwhelmed by everything you don’t know, I get it. I was there too.

But here’s what I can promise:
The only way to become confident is to actually get in the game.

If you’re an experience investors, what do you wish you could go back & tell yourself?

If you’re just starting out . . . it’s ok. We all had a day one.

Also, I took that wall out myself & I still get the itch for a good demo day 😂

p.s. This is Jena from the “Brian & Jena” team here at Abundant Path Capital!
